The old QSL card pictures Massai warriors on top the crater rib of the Ngorongoro crater. Bernhard Grzimek ("The Serengeti must not die") said, its beauty and dimension cannot be described and did call it a wonder of the world.
The Ngorongoro CA (Conservation Area) is an attempt to combine the interests of local people with the idea of national parks. The Massai people are the only ones, who are allowed to settle there and graze their cattle in this area. Current QSL card & route |
